I say 5% the darker it is the better it will look

My car is black and I've got very dark tint (I don't know the %) and you can hardly see inside during the day. I've had lighter tints but don't like them. Living in FL the sun is just too strong and I just like the look of the dark tint better.

Well I was leaning towards the light tint until I cleaned it up real good yesterday. Now I am thinking that it will look better with dark tint on there.
