Can anyone tell me what the hell the difference is between a "caucas" and a "primary" Kerry seems to be winning all of these, but I dont know what the difference is...I understand all the candidiates are competing for the delegates needed to be the Democratic nominee...but I cant tell the diff between caucas and primary :confused:

I have been trying to figure that out myself. All I heard about last month was the Iowa Caucus, 4 years ago I couldn't care less about anything that had anything to do with politics, but these days I am bit older and follow the news. So when the word Caucus is on the Tube every 3 seconds, I start to wonder what it's all about.
