No he has talent, but they got him because they fucked up bad this year in the W.S., and I think in general new yorkers are just sick of watching this team fucking up in a pinch, and if we have the big names on the field it will bring people in too watch the games, more merchadising, and so on, steinbrenner needs to GO

we did just loose our whole pitching staff more or less, I cant wait to see how this year unfolds

Man, you New Yorkers are SPOILED ROTTEN! Hello...you can't win EVERY year! You've done an awful lot of celebrating in the past 10 years...more than any other city. The Yankees have won 4 out ot the last 8 World Series, and have been to 6 out of the past 8.

I know that, Im just saying that the money could have been better spent, hes looking to take us all the way by paying for it, now naturally you want talent, its gonna cost you, but shit we have a good ball club, they are just getting to used to the glory every year, and every year they are getting sloppier...tell me not?

I woulda gone after a superstar pitcher personally...but...adding A-Rod and Sheffield allows you to have a staff with an ERA a full run higher and still win most nights.
