Sperm donation and fatherhood

I was talking with someone today who said they helped pay for college by making regular donations to the local sperm bank. He could potentially be the 'father' of 50 children, or more. He seems to be okay with this but, man, I couldn't take it. I'd be too curious as to how 'my' offspring looked and what they were doing.
How would you feel?

the thought of a woman having to raise a little "ME" scares me. the world has enough ugly people in it i dont need to make it that much uglier.;)

When I was in the Army there were literally hundreds of guys doing it regularly to get extra cash.

On the flip side, they pay women a lot more to donate their eggs...I seriously thought about it to get some extra $$$, but then I decided it would be a bad idea because I would of had to have hormone shots and horrible stuff like that. Its not worth it....:D

I couldn't sell my eggs because they're a part of me. I'd never feel comfortable knowing that a child who was partly mine could be living on this earth, never knowing that they were safe and sound, being treated and cared for the right way. I envy women who can give their babies up for adoption to others who can't have any children of their own...I could never do it.
