I disagree...There are way more good looking guys than girls because guys can get away with not being exactly perfect. They can be pretty boys or they can be rugged or have a little fluff on there bellies and still be attractive. They can even dress somewhat out of style. There is much more latitude for guys to be judged as good looking. But with girls, they can't be any thing less than feminine and pretty and dress great and have a killer body or most people think they are dogs.

i dunno, maybe my standards are too high, but i need the whole package from a guy. maybe it's being spoiled from going out in new york city, but i won't look at a guy who's not dressed well, carries himself with ample confidence, and has a gorgeous face.

going out in the city gets hard. it's not only about being fashionable for women, it's the same for men. and being part of the crowd is often not enough - you look like one of the sheep in your armani shirts and your dior bags. you need to have pizazz and finess to stand out.

that's why this girl's got that thing going on... she's trying to stand out and make a fashion statement to stand out and apart from the crowd.

I guess what I'm also trying to say is women have to and are willing to "settle" for less than guys usually have to. and guys know that so it's less likely to find one with pride in his body and overall appearance.

I guess it does depend on the person's standards that is looking!! Personally I don't shoot for total perfection looks wise...just something nice!! Perfection is too far and few between!! Everyone is way too overweight these days. I did an experiment in a Barnes and Noble one day while I sat and read one day. I counted the people that came and went who were overweight and unatrractive and it was like 80-90 % as compared to just simply decent looking people. I may have seen 1 or 2 outstanding people in the entire 2 hours I was there. It was depressing:(
