  • Having a baby!

Ohh my gosh you brave women!! and men!!...what you guys go through too its insane :)
-I watched this video today and this man and woman were going to have a child together. When the woman wanted to eat she had to smell her food before she knew what she wanted, so the husband had to go from restaurant to restaurant with her waiting till his wife could smell each food item before they could decide on a restaurant and actually eat haha.
The husband was like, "how about this one sweetie?" ...and at LEAST four different restaurants they went to she said, "ummm, NO! Next...ummmm NO! Next....NO!" ....Just so humorous it seemed unbelievable. Anybody have similar experiences with pregnancy?

    LOL That's funny.

I never had any weird cravings or anything like that. However, I was pretty emotional and would cry easilly, most of the time it was tears of joy about the little miracle growing inside me.

I remember one time, I was 7 or 8 months pregnant and watching a PBS show about these little kids in Japan going to kindergarten. I cried thinking of my daughter's first day of school, how I'd miss her, how I'd wonder if she was ok without me, etc., and she wasn't even born yet!

This would be enought to make me flip out. That would be the last time I'd take her out to eat while pregnant. Just reading that irritated me!

I'm not mean usually....UNLESS someone gets between me and a meal. I can't see myself pleased to have my dining experienced delayed not once, not twice, not thrice....but FOUR times!!!

Not only that hitman, but she was being interviewed and said it lasted through the WHOLE pregnancy. But also, on the flip side of things she was saying how the smell of food made her feel like throwing up. That seems pretty awful to me especially after all those months of morning sickness...so I don't know. It seems like a hard process all together.

I wonder what women did back in the caveman days. You think after the man went out and beat the shit outta some smelly animal with a stick, the woman asked him to get another one that didn't stink that much? I guess if she got morning sickness, he'd just bonk her ass out so she didn't wake up in the morning?!?

Exactly, no way I would put up with this for more than once or twice.

What would have happened if this was 500 years ago ?

She would eat whatever was there.

I agree. Just because she's pregnant doesn't give her the right to act like a spoiled bratt!

After she realizes she's got food issues, she shouldn't annoy everyone else with it...instead she should just eat at home for a few months until she's over it.

My wife in the early part of her pregnancy, couldn't stand smells, I wasn't allowed to bake chicken, cause she'd throw up, so out I went if I wanted chicken or turkey. if finally tappered off, and cravings, well we'll just say I put alot of miles on the car going from place to place....lol
