I have always been in pretty good shape, but I have found that ever since I cut all of my hair off I have had better responses from women!!! I use to have spiked hair with blonde highlights, but I buzzed it all off and now my hair is about an 1/8 of an inch long and the women just seem to love it!!! Anyone else had this happen???

I can say that I love working out and watching my body grow....it is the ultimate compliment for myself. My weak point are my arms, and I am happy to say that they are growing! When I first started working out I was SO self concious of my arms at the gym...but now that they are bigger I notice guys watching me when I lift. Not that I can lift a whole hell of a lot yet, but I think I get a lot of respect and awe that I am female, and am there for the same reasons they are. Its funny, my man LOVES to watch me at the gym, he is entralled at watching my muscles in motion...sometimes I think he would rape me on the spot if he could LOL I can say that I love watching him work too...

My hubby notices the difference with other women too...especially with others that we play with...they will always be running their hands down his chest and telling him what a great ass he has! I need to post a pic of him sometime, he has a beautiful body. He is a smaller build, but he is sooo cut up!! YUM

Hi! This is my first post here.

Yes! I shaved my head completely, and that gets a lot of attention. Also, about 5 years ago, I was 170lb, 20% BF, and now I am 220lb, 20% BF. As you can see, I am in no way in the best shape but the size itself is enough. I can see a definite change in the way that girls treat me these days. I had a "first" this past weekend. I was talking to a girl at a bar in another town and this local guy got jealous that I was getting more attention than him. He was skinny too.

Man I am having a good time.

WOW, you're 270 and you can start to see ab definition? That's pretty impressive. The other thing is that you were 270 and fat (according to you) then in 5 months dropped to 180 and then in 2 years added 90 lbs of muscle? You must have some incredible genetics! That's a big swing both ways for weight loss and weight gain. I haven't seen anyone lose and gain that much so fast before. More power to you.

Thanks, but I have never thought of myself as someone with good genetics I just try my best, and train and eat consistently. Yes I was 270 and extremely fat, it was the worst shape of my life. I did nothing but drink and smoke for months, and ate like shit. I looked at myself one day and was disgusted so I decided to change things. at this point I guess I was 21 and although I had played football in HS and college and trained for it, I really didn't have any understanding of diet or training as a BB. I changed all of my bad habits started going to the gym again and the weight came off fast. I dropped 30 pounds in the first month alone. I started at the beginning of April and by June I was down to about 220. I hit a little plateau but by November I was 180. also around this time is when I found online discussion boards and really started reading a lot about BBing, I would read for 4-5 hours a day on diet training gear everything I could find. Once I started to understand some of this stuff I realized that I was eating next to nothing and severely over training. Sometime that winter, I guess around January I decided that I was too small and it was time to grow. so the first changes I made were to my diet, I started taking in a minimum of 400 grams of protein a day, and just by doing that and cutting out cardio I gained about 30-40 pounds, that was from January to august. In august I found something that completely changed me, how I worked out, ate ,everything. I learned finally how to train right and eat right. What I found was the cfp thread on akits. honestly that thread and training with dc later that year changed everything for me. in august I was weighing around 210-220 I don't measure bf ,I just go by the mirror and I could easily see my top 4 abs ( I carry most of my fat very low on my stomach ) . by November I was around 240 and slightly higher bf% but not much. up until this point I was natural. from November to February I gained another 40 pounds, honestly I would say mostly fat. in fedora I started training online with dc and that is when I really started to get it. my weight stayed pretty much the same through the summer I was just adding muscle while loosing fat. at my heaviest that winter I was up to almost 300. my life was kind of turned upside for a while and I took 3 months off completely at the end of last summer. very light training no cardio no supplements. in the middle of this past October I started hitting things hard again. I pretty quickly got back to my previous best witch was in the beginning of July, and have made solid progress since. the past month or so I have dropped a lot of fat, several inches from my waste, and this was just from dialing in my diet no cardio. I am going to start doing cardio next week and try to dial in my diet a little further. right now my short term goal is to be a solid 270 this summer, really I just want to be presentable maybe around 10%bf, I don't compete and have no desire to do so, I just really enjoy bbing, my biggest goal is just to feel ok about myself. I guess if you look at the numbers I made decent progress, but it wasn't like I gained 90 pounds of lean muscle in a few months. I bulked hard and blew myself up, yes I got too fat but the whole process has been a learning experience and I just continue to learn as I go. I hope that makes things a little clearer. sorry to everyone else for jacking the thread.

There is nothing sexier, to me, than a big muscular guy with a confident "cocky" attitude.

My story started out much the same as you guys. Skinny dude, put some size on, got up to 240 and meeting alot of women. BUT, I started to get into powerlifting, my mid section got thicker from all the heavy squat work and I noticed the chicks weren't coming around as much. Now, I'm up over 330 at about 10.5% bf and it's harder than hell to meet women(not that I'm looking now. I have a sweetheart, but when I was...). It's almost as if I went back to being that shy skinny kid again with no confidence. Go figure.

Ok, this is my first time posting. I AM the skinny kid that is shy and not very confident. I mean I can get some girls if I tried but I am just too shy. But right now is kinda the perfect chance for me to start doing something with my body since I am in Kuwait right now working for the government. I am out of shape and want to " get built ". I work 12 hours a day and get only 1 day off a week so time is a big thing that I need to work out before I can "work out". I am 6 ft and about 155 pds. I don't know hardly anything about supplements or anything like that so if anyone could give me any kind of info on what I can do.......PLEASE let me know! I am dying to change my life and appearance for that matter.

THC, read a lot in the "Superior Fitness Section" of this board, especially in the "Natural Training and Diet" area. Learn what you need to eat because diet is the key, combined with training, to transform your body. When you're in the gym don't worry about what others think of you, remember EVERYONE started out somewhere, some skinny, some fat, just get in there and train. This board has tons of diet and training advice. Read, read and read! As for limited time, at first you might find it an inconvenience to get to the gym, but quickly it becomes something you enjoy and you look forward to getting in there so instead of wasting time watching tv or whatever, you'll find a way to fit training into your schedule. It becomes a passion. As the months go by you will see changes in your body that you've made, keep at it, baby steps add up to giant leaps and in a few years you'll look back and be proud.
