woman flees marriage proposal

i just saw this on ther news. they brought a woman out on the court at a basketball game. her boyfriend dressed as the mascot comes out strips off the mascot costume into regular cloths goes down to one knee in front of the crowd and on TV pulls a ring says the words. the girl covers her face and runs away. the guy is left there looking like a kicked puppy, heart shattered, pain welling up in his chest like an elephant standing on it.

the guys in the stands reaction was brutal! they laughed at this poor stupid romantic.

I just heard about that and the radio station i listen to seems to think it was all staged.
