i don't understand Mrs. P. i went to watch 28 days later when it premiered and there were small children there with their parents wtf? everything that's in this movie was supposed to be as close to the bible's words as it can get. there are only two scenes where he strays from the bible, but have no impact to how the story unfolds. for years, and years, and years, priests have been teaching the bible but no one has ever recreated just how much pain and suffering Jesus actually went through for us. I heard that on tv tonight. And there are some religious fanatics that are taking their kids to see this? Grrrrrrrr.
i don't think i'd take my children if they were too young, but they have to understand (without sugar coating it like it's been done for so long) the importance of his last days on earth. and the article doesn't even touch base on her health conditions. it's too bad she died, but come on. over the movie? anyone ever see the last temptation of christ? no one died there did they? i would think that was MORE controversial than this.

To me, the difference between the violence in this movie vs. the voilence in most movies is that this is based on fact because there was a man who actually did suffer like this. So imo. it's much harder to see. A fictional movie you know is just pretend so it's not as disturbing.
I guess what it comes down to is that some people are just much more emotional than others. I would recommend against seeing this movie if you're a guy on clomid or a womam PMS'ing.
