  • Kerry's new TV ad

Hi, I wanted to see what other people think.

I was watching TV and caught one of Kerry's TV ads. It REALLY bothered me that he says "were gonna take away the Bush tax credits from the wealthy"

How is that not discrimination? That's like saying "lets take the Bush tax credits away from the african-americans, or the single parents"

All the ads here in OH are all anti-wealthy. Isn't that the american dream? Isn't everyone trying to make money?

Nope- I'm not in the highest tax bracket. I just thought of discrimination right away when I heard that.

Ever pay attention to Kerry's face? He looks like a horse. So, not only is he a horse's ass, he's a horses face too. However, he's like ALL politicians, they are all liars, cheats and scoundrels and should all be shot for being so. BB

As a generalization, most prominent Democrats are very wealthy. The Clintons are probably the poorest in that respect, and I believe they are still multimillionaires. Then consider Kennedy, Kerry, the list goes on. It is a con job to appeal to their voter base. Most of them have never been poor (lowest tax bracket) and I doubt that they can truly relate to anyone who is. What is interesting is that most of us received a tax break under George W. that I do not recall getting under Clinton (or Bush Sr.), so how is it that Kerry is going to help by increasing taxes? As a side comment, Kerry has not stood firm on any issue consistently over the last several years, so everyone can expect him to change his viewpoint as the circumstances require.

Democrats are con artists...always have been. The Republicans have a few policies that are unpopular amongst the masses, but at least they don't hide their intentions.

When someone is imbedded in politics as long as these guys, it's all the same. It just varies in severity. What Kerry wants is to rescind the tax cuts for the wealthiest and apply some of it to the middle class working people. I predicted him as the dem candidate a year ago because like Dubya, he is a Skull and Bones Alumni. If they can't get their current horse to win they gotta load the deck with more horses to cover their bases. I would much rather have preferred Wes Clark or John Edwards. Ralph Nader is probably the best choice for the general masses but he will never get in, as he is too dangerous to the establishment. The Republicans and the Democrats are just a slightly different flavor of the same product but I feel that at least the dems will stop alienating other countries with brash talk and get the economy (jobs) back on track. Tax cuts can be a useful tool but when misused, they can cause great harm to an economy. Generally, it's a carrot offered to get elected when you have no other platform to run on. When all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail.

they are all the same. it is a game to them. they don't understand the first thing about proper governmnet and what its purpose is. there shouldn't be a lot of lawyers involved in government there should be a lot of philosophers involved. that is where the reasons for what should be done and what should not be done come from. the founding fathers weren't just politicians they were philosophers in the truest sense. they actually thought about the laws they were implementing and how they would affect people, now politicians see how the laws they implement will get them rich or get certain people rich. it is a joke and citizens should stand up to them but everyone is so mindfucked by the whole process that no one knows where to begin.

They're all just power tripping and all of them are corrupt....I'm a conservative and I believe in a strong military...as soon as a democrat gets into office, the first thing they do is cut the military...we simply cannot afford to be lax in that regard......I also think we should have the right to bear arms. another thing the dem's are trying to do away with...I have to vote republican on those issues alone even though I agree with some democrat views...

you should vote libertarian then because your views seem to be more in line with them.
