daughter said the funniest thing

I don't even know where she got this, but she told me last night that:

She hoped the baby won't come out brown. She said she wanted it to be the same color as her.

I couldn't stop laughing... it was the cutest thing, she was completely serious too!

If the baby did come out brown, my husband might have some choice words for me... and might be out the door... lol

Kids are funny!

My daughter developed a little bit of jaundice when she was about 1-2 weeks old (pretty common) so I was thinking she had my husband's olive complexion. Infants go through so many changes in the first weeks. A lot of babies are born with hair on their backs...if I hadn't read that I would have freaked because my daughter had a little. It quickly went away...I forget what it's called and why it happens. When she was born her hair appeared to be curly when it was wet, but within hours it changed and was completely straight.

Oh you have to love what kids say My son he is always coming up with new words and he makes us laugh all the time.
