Costco vs Sam's Club

We are getting a Costco Wholesale warehouse in area, and I will be opening this month. Is it any better than Sams? I have a Sams Club Membership, but Costco is offering our Company a half off membership fee ($22.50), and I was wondering, if it's worth it. Especially since I already have a Sams Club membership.

I have memberships to both of them. Their prices are similar, but I think Costco has a slightly better offering of different food products that we can use. Sam's has a better stock of non-food items and convenience foods.

I just asked Stromba which he prefers and he said exactly the same thing I said. He also says to join Costco to keep money out of Walmart's hands! LOL

If I could only have one, I'd choose Costco.

I'll agree with MrsP on this one, up north we have BJ's (no, not THAT one) Wholesale and Costco, I find Costco is more in line with what you'll need food wise. Quick note, their boneless, skinless chicken cutlets are the bomb. I recently had to buy some at a supermarket, they cost more and had a huge amount of fat and gristle to be trimmed prior to cooking. Costcos' are trimmed just about perfectly, no more than a tiny bit of fat, much better buy for the money.

Costco is the best by far. Plus they offer an american express card where everything you spend on it you get 2% of that to spend at costco. That adds up fast if you buy like a TV or a vacation with your card. Nice savings.

That's the one item I buy every time I go, the boneless, skinless chicken tenders (both clubs have them). We have a big chest freezer in the garage so I'll buy 6-8 bags at a time, along with 8-10 gallons of milk (it's 50 cents a gallon cheaper than at the supermarket). Costco also has the most delicious fresh peppers (6 HUGE peppers, 2 ea. red, orange and yellow...I stuff them with ground turkey breast). And I haven't found the chicken saussages anywhere else but Costco. Their fresh mozzerella is to die for. :)
