best thing to do is go to a sleep lab !!!Originally posted by redback View PostBump, anyone else with this problem?
you want to rule out sleep apnea which kills 20 thousand people a year - you stop breathing while asleep which makes your oxygen levels plummet causing heart attack or stroke - reggie white died from it - a 17 year old local girl died from it last year -- sleep apnea can effect people of all sizes -
snoring is just one sign of it -- if you find yourself tired alot -- falling asleep during the day ' cant concentrate ' all possible signs of sleep apnea
i have it pretty bad and use a bi pap machine -- used to be just a c pap machine but has grown worse over the past couple years so been put on a bi pap machine -- i can blow the leaves off my lawn with that fucker lolLast edited by bigscott; 08-25-08, 07:36 AM.

I snore, not so much now that I'm leaning out, enough for my gf to set up an appt with a snore specialist. Snoring is a vibration of the loose tissue at the back of your throat, your uvula and surrounding fleshy bits. There is a surgery that removes this stuff and stops snoring all together. I didn't get it because it's not covered by health care up here and it was $800. I told my gf that I slept fine and that essentially the surgery would be for her so she should pay for it :D
Laser Assisted Uvulotpalatoplasty (LAUP)
