My Wallet was stolen from my own home, WTF... with $1000 in it

Hello fellow iron heads, I have got to rant for a moment and let you all know what happend to me this weekend. Mrs. PumpDogg and I have our home for sale, nothing major but sometimes an inconvience. Anyways on Friday evening I left the house to go to wrk for a few hours for some easy money, and just happened that we had a house showing right after I left. I had on some workout pants (imagine that) and did not take my whole wallet to wrk, just a litlle slide out deal that holds your drivers license etc... anyways I put the rest of my wallet on the counter near some canisters and it had a grand in it from last weeks paycheck. I thought that my wife would grab it off the counter so I was not to concerned and and I put it out of the way of sight . I come home that night of course not looking for my wallet and today when I did you guessed it, GONE.... MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!
I called the police, they said sorry about your luck, should not leave anything out in open sight.. Like I said it was somewhat difficult to see. My realator says hey I dont know what to do, and now they call me back and say that the bug man was here and he came in the house why they were looking in the garage. Now I have known this dude ( bug guy) for most of my life and really dont think he would have done this...... You know I dont know what to think. I am so mad I could punch a hole thru my monitor but I'm not even on a cycle and feel like I have rage going on here. If it was my bug man, cant prove it, if it were the people who looked at my home, cant prove it, WTF...... Its a catch 22, I have been fucked over more than once or twice in life when it comes to money, a reason I dont have credit cards or my last wife, anywho, I feel violated... I dont want to show my house anymore but then I will be in a breach of contract with my realator.
What do you guys think? Do I have more options? I dont know if the agency who showed my house is respondible or not... I assume so.. but its late saturday night. BTW I also have a pregnant wife 17 weeks today, who lets just say is on the hormone wagon herself and man o man sometimes.......... Have any of you had similar experiences? Talk to me

Too many people had access to your house, it would be all but impossibe to hang a tag on the culprit, and I doubt that your realtor would be responsible. My best guess is that it was the "bug" man. Don't know why, bu I just have a hunch. If you want to sell your house, forget this shit, just make sure no valuables are left available from sticky fingers from now on and go on about you life. It's a damn shame that the world is full of thieves, but that's the way it is. Sorry for your bad luck bro, mark it up to experience and chill. BB

I know the bug guy and yes he's pothead I know for sure, but surely not... I grew 2 plants back in the day when I was younger and not interested if pot would slow my progress or not and we ( my buddies and I) would have weed layin around and money on the dresser for the weekend partying ( I was a bouncer then.. oh the memories keep flooding my head... ) and nothing. I think your rght BB there is no recourse and chalk this up to experience.

Yeah you're pretty much SOL! I don't get why you would have $1000 dollars in your wallet, and if you did just don't leave it out in the open. When my dad would sell an old car or something and get a few grand or whatever, he would hide that s***, like in the freezer in a bag or something, in case they guys came back to rob us. He has taught me not to trust ANYBODY, no matter what. Better luck next time!

Yeah DJ you are right, I have a good job and I do pretty well for myself, so having that kind of money in my wallet on any given friday is mot unusal for me or about 10,000 other fellow employees.Regardless I should have put the wallet in my truck at work , but you know I thought someone might break in my ride and steal it and then no money. Someone had a great time on me this weekend, but what goes around comes around. I really believe that too.

Damn that sucks!! I hope you find who did it!! And if you do, kick his ass!!! I would!! I'm glad none of your credit cards were stolen though....that would have been a big mess.

Oh and DON'T carry that much cash around, ever!!!! I keep all my big $$ in a safe in my house....I only carry around a few hundred dollars at once on me, unless I know what and where I'm going and I'm going to spend it immediately, cause you never know. Dude, and putting it in your truck!! Your crazy!! LOL I hope everything works out!! :D

Buying a safe today. Told my wife that last night. I was planning on making a purchase today, talked to my buddy yesterday at the gym, and had planned on seeing him today. Guess I wont be as vascular ,lean and hard this spring as I originally thought I would huh? Lesson learned this weekend.
