Marquette -4
I liked them against Toledo and I like them here. I know Boise State has supposedly been on a tear but it's begun to wane folks. Against Wiscy-Mil in their last game they had a nice DD lead and nearly lost SU, often getting out hustled and pushed around on the boards. Marquette may not kill anyone on the boards but they do their share of banging and do not give up. Diener will again be lighting it up all over the court and Steve Novak will be chipping in 3's all day. Boise State's Ellis (team leader in rebounds) will be over-shadowed by Marquette's Merrit who is bigger and more agile than him. I look for Marquette to win this baby by 7-8 and hey, as long as it covers I'm fine with it.

Really, should Oregon be laying that kind of number to anyone? I know Oregon's got that offensive power, but their defense is just horrible. They seem to be like the Dallas Mavs of college basketball at times, trying to outgun teams. George Mason is honestly a decent defensive team and will take advantage of one of Oregon's glaring weaknesses, the inside game. I will flat out say it, Oregon is soft and defense and even softer on the inside. Oregon just cannot blow out their opponents because they always get pushed around inside. All George Mason has to do is play good perimeter defense and the rest will fall into place. Oregon may win SU, but this game will be tight so the points will be huge to take!
