Normally, I'd avid this topic in here, but considering some of the posts...I gotta weigh in.

Me talking:

1. No, US isn't perfect. Does CIA abuse? Possible, even likely. But show me a country without secrets, and I'll show you a country that just hides them better than we do.
2. Fear has never been a US trait. If it's around now, it's cuz of f*ckers who wanna destroy what we stand for.
3. We do more in the way of charity, re-construction, and assistance than any other country in the world. We also protect our own interests. It's legitimate to do both.
4. Critics are an interesting breed. We have among the most open borders in the world, and most people who want to come here are able to. The price we pay is we have tons of freeloaders critical of the hand that feeds them.

I agree with one thing said previously...if you dislike it so much, there's the door.

Do you know that you really know how to speak and don’t talk crap and you respect the other people opinion.

I mean if every body speaks by their mind and respects the other people’s opinion it will be better.

We're all free to believe, but not to knock down. If you want change, work to make it so. Don't criticize...work within the system to get people who agree with you elected.

I've never been a fan of sensational journalism because it doesn't solve anything. Conspiracy theorists don't count for much in my book. They're just nuts.

Well I guess that depends on what you care about being destroyed.
Obviously you would rather America maintain a relationship with socialist countries that support dictators, like Saddam, who use chemical weapons on civilians and in my opinion 'destroying' American sovereignty by waiting on approval by the U.N.

Where as I would rather risk (destroy would be how you describe it) our relationship with any country that does not respect our right to enforce our 'cease fire' agreement or with Iraq.
