The under is always a good bet when the Panthers go on the road. The under is 8-0-2 in Florida’s last 10 road games this season. Florida’s offense has scored 2 goals or less in 10 of their last 11 road games with their only game where they scored 3 goals coming in overtime against Montreal. Meanwhile Luongo has been great in net on the road, giving up 2 goals or less in 8 of his last 9 road starts for a GAA of 1.30. This season, Luongo has a 1.64 GAA in 3 game against Carolina and a 1.88 GAA the last 2 seasons in game played in Carolina. Carolina’s offense has home hasn’t been that good, giving up 2 goals or less in 4 of their last 5 home games so it’s highly probably that the Canes won’t score more than 2 goals against Luongo tonight. Carolina’s goaltending and defense hasn’t bee great at home lately, but Kevin Weekes has started most to all of those games. Irbe will get the start tonight. In 6 game this season, Irbe has played well, posting a 1.95 GAA this season, and with Florida’s offense being bad on the road (as I mentioned before), I think Irbe should have a good game tonight.

Nashville Predators –0.5 over New York –135
Preds should be able to bounce back after a disappointing loss against the Ducks on home ice on Thursday. Even though they haven’t been winning much, the Preds still have been playing good hockey (with the exception of that Anaheim game). All of their game on their last 4 game road trip against the Wings, Nucks, Oilers and Flames were all hard fought games which were close and came down to the wire.
The Rangers are a horrible team with nothing to play for now, losing 7 straight games including BTB game games against Penguins. The Rangers have scored 2 goals or less in 6 of their last 8 games and have given up 3 goals or more in their last 7 games, giving up an average of 3.86 goals per game in those last 7 games .
The Preds are 4-1-1 in their last 6 meetings against the Rangers.
Chicago Blackhawks over Minnesota ML –106

Minnesota has been playing bad hockey lately losing 3 in a row. Their last 2 losses came against horrible teams, first against a Phoenix team which hadn’t won in their last 15 games, then getting shutout and losing against a bad Columbus team. Your offense has to be pretty damn to get shutout by the Bluejackets. The Wild are also playing the 2nd half of BTB games on BTB nights and their record is something like 0-9-9 in backend games. Manny Fernandez gets the start tonight for Minny tonight who is the worst of the 2 goaltenders for the Wild. Fernandez has given up 3 goals or more in 5 of their last 7 road starts. And gave up 3 goals in 24 minutes against the Hawks this season. Chicago undefeated in their last 3 games, and earned a tie in their last game in Colorado which is a place where they never win, which is decent. Chicago is playing better hockey than Minnesota lately so I’ll pick them to win.
As far as the under goes, the Wild’s offense has scored 1 goals or less in 8 of their last 10 games, scoring a total of 11 total goals in those 10 road games. Regardless of whose in net tonight for Chicago, I still think that Minnesota’s offense will continue to slump tonight. Chicago’s offense has scored 2 goals or less in 4 of their last 5 games while Minnesota has given up 2 goals or less in 6 of their last 8 road games and 3 goals or less in their last 12 games overall, so Chicago’s offense will probably not score more than 3 tonight. The under is 9-1 in Minnesota’s last 10 road games.
I’m predicting that Chicago will win this game either 2-1 or 3-1 tonight.
