I was 1-1 last nite as the Spurs decided to sit on their 24 point 4th quarter lead and almost gave it all back. The cavs finished the game on an 8-0 run to ruin my nite. -$10

I hate to take a team that does poorly on the road but the Warriors have put together a 7 game win streak. Covering all 7. To be underdog to a team missing their star player makes them an attractive pick. Sixers have averaged only 85.2 points in their last 5 games. Only score 65 against the offensive minded Celtics. The Warriors have averaged 97.6 points in their last 5 games and have allowed opponents only 82.6 points during the same period.

Let's start with the side. For starters, as usual the Lakers line is inflated. Ytd the Lakers are 3-8 ATS when favored by 11 to 14 points. Tonight they face a Hornets team desperate for a win anyway they can get it.
Along those lines is this quote from Hornets coach Tim Floyd, "We're going to have to play very spirited, play hard defensively. We're going to have to keep teams in the mid- to low-80s to give ourselves our best opportunity to win. We've lost a lot of points from the lineup, a lot of our post-up game. We're going to have to get our points off our defense and by making some shots from the perimeter."
Which leads to the UNDER bet. Outside of the Hornets being forced to play a slow down style due to injuries, the Lakers have been kind to 'under' bettors.
