when i set up an account it wants my address and phone and other info I was wondering is it ok to use all of my real info and has anyone done it this way

not if your using it for purposes Im assuming you need to use it for, just go to any place and fill out any name, tele number or whatever and send funds

Yes you need your real info if your setting up an account through the internet....if you go to a place and it's over 1k you need a drivers licence....you need a drivers license no matter what for some countries like China.
