  • Day went from boring to sad

I called one my good friends to see why he wasn't at his dorm. His Dad died today. :( I feel like crap. Just did my thing and put 100 mi on my car. Nothing I can do tonight, he didn't want to talk. I'm going stir crazy, wish there was something I could do for him. Sorry, I just had to vent.

It's horrible, he's not really talking to me about it and I really wanna know whats going on. I talked to his Mom and she said I should just wait it out and talk to him about it tomorrow. I'm hoping he will atleast talk tomorrow.

Chris...the best thing you can do is just let him know that you are there for him!!! My father died in a plane crash in '97 and no matter what people would come up and say it didn't help...just made me think about him more!!! My first night back out at my local hangout my friend John Kurzweig(producer for Creed and countless other bands) comes up and he says " There is nothing I can say....just know that I am here for you no matter what!" That made me feel better!!! Knowing that I had friends I could turn to made all the difference!!!
I will keep you both in my prayers!!!

Everyone deals with the shock in a different way...just let him know that you'll be there when he's ready to talk. He may need a few days...and that's perfectly normal.
