delivary Conformation ?

If its does not require a sig. Why would the usps say delivary was attempted and note left?By the way its only a letter nothing illegal

same thing happen to me before, certain stuff i guess they don't like to just leave there if no one's home. I had to go to the post office to pick it up cause they tried twice then left a letter saying it was at a local post office.
