  • Anyone use H&R Block?

I went H&R but the lady I was dealing with was being such a bitch I just grabbed my stuff and walked out near the end. Wasted so much of her time :D They keep calling me and I havn't answered yet.

Buy yourself Turbotax Deluxe. It'll cost you about $60.00, including state. And it's better than H&R Block, or any other paid service. Too late now for the deadline this year though. I've used it for 7 or 8 years, and it can't be beat. BB

I use turbo tax too, and did a few friend's this year on it too. BB is right, can't beat it

I had a friend use H & R last year, and I used Turbo Tax for him this year, I got him twice as much back, and didn't charge him $100

Had another friend use H & R this year, and STILL haven't gotten the state refund yet, he went in February. They sent him a check for $10 apologizing for the delay!

I do my taxes myself on H&R Blocks website every year for the past 4 years, never a problem and always get my refund w/in 2 weeks.

I have had it done on Turbo Tax every year before, but I've never done it myself. I was trying to do it online myself this year, but after lots of confusion, I figured out that I can't because I didn't file in this state last year. So I went there to just get it over with.

I heard you have to pay fees at H&R Block. I think my Dad has some guy do our taxes, then I just sign it and spend the refund check, that I got already. :D What to spend all the money that I so rightfully deserve on...

ditto that - total rip off! and don't let them give you an "advance" on your tax return, they charge an insane intrest rate. i think there was an TV show about how they rip you off on 20 minutes or 60 minutes or whatever a few days ago. i've been doing my own taxes since 1995 - no problems yet.
