I belive 420 was the old police code for something related to smoking weed.... as in there is a possible 420 in progress .... anyway that was what i had seen on tV.

Hmmmm... funny how 420 seems to mean different things in different countries.. in India, 420 is slang for stealing, burglary, etc. based on the Indian Penal Code Statute # 420 covering these offenses..
