No change from yesterday. I normally don't like to bet the same matchup after a rainout but this is an early afternoon game and that makes a difference. If CC doesn't go against Affeldt, this bet will be cancelled.
San Diego/San Francisco OVER 9
Valdes against Reuter. Valdes hasn't really been that bad but the ball carries better in the sunshine here. Reuter should help because he will give you at least 4 runs. The last two games these two have played here have gone way over. Pens have been used a lot.
Oakland/Seattle OVER 7
Mulder vs Moyer. This total is way low because of the fact that they are playing in Seattle. A good season trend is to bet all games there under. But not today. These two pitchers don't deserve such a low number. The ball carries better in the sun here too. Seattles bats are stirring. Best bet of the 6.
Tampa Bay/Baltimore OVER 9 1/2
Moss vs Ainsworth. Ainsworth is becoming my favorite over pitcher this year. These two have met 5 times this year and they have gone over the total 4 of those games. Wish it was at 9 but a solid over play here.
Boston ML -170
Schilling at -170 is a steal. He looks like his old self a lot this year. He has run support which is something Tor is lacking. Hate to bet against the home team but Batista is carrying a 7.88 ERA and I see no help for him from the Jays anemic bats.
Cubs/Pitt OVER 7 1/2
It's raining in the area so this may not be played. Better yet there may be rain delays before the end of the game and that would surely help the over. Wood and Wells hook up but I think three things beside the rains will help the over. First, both pitchers walk too many batters. And runners are a good thing when you bet over. Second, this is a low number. Should be 8 to 8 1/2 so I will take what they give me. Third, these two have played 5 games this year and all went over 8 easily. This is 7 1/2.
