People dont realize that there were others killed in his convoy, where is the news on them? They are heros just like him. I cant imagine how there familys feel.
Very true .I really didnt think about it like that. Family and friends are worth way more than any amount of money. All the soldiers are risking that.

Turning down millions of dollars to go a serve in the Special Forces in a hot zone is a true sign of character on his part.

BUT...in general, our troops do not get the recognition that they deserve...I do agree with that whole heartedly!

He is a true American! His story will be told around camp fires. He is the kind of role model we need for kids these days!!!!!!!

That shit is really kind of offensive. My family has a long standing history with the US military, navy, and marines. Turning down that kind of money shows no more character than anyone leaving and fighting/dying for an asshole president. I'm sorry, but that is just rude. My family has lost several people in every war the US has been involved in since WWI. I'm sorry none of them were offered millions of dollars to throw a fucking ball across a field, but they sure as hell had character and a hell of a lot of balls too. And none of them did it to make ends meet.
