Search Button Instructions

If you need to know how it works or tips on using it post here. I don't care if you don't have time right now to search and just want a quick answer. This is not a board in which laziness pays off.

Like I have said before and will say again, the search button is only as good as the subjects/posts that are made. Half of the posts made are usually one or two words long. that means if something is a popular word you will have like 100 hits for that word and have to look through all of them. If people made a good synopsis of what their subject is that people will be able to predict that some of the answers in the thread will be of help to them and their questions. I agree people should search but I also think everyone needs to start making informative subject lines as well as posts.

Good idea. Put this at the top of EVERY forum.
It gets old answering the same questions..."what weight gainer should i use" :)

I try to tolerate it to some extent - I've noticed from reading if the person knows VERY little and is NEW to the site then they prob. just dont know what to search for...its not laziness - ingorance maybe?

You're exactly right in my case, I'm ignorant, not lazy. I'm new to the board---do search but often don't know the best way to ferret out what I'm looking for. Guess I'll learn in time. Thanks

If you're really having diffuculty, then go ahead and ask. If it's that hard to find, It probably hasn't been posted 50 times. It may not have at all, or we can help point you in the right direction.
