Depending on how far you want to take it, if the seller cashed your check/money order, and did not ship, that is mail fraud. I got scammed back in '99 for a poster, and I guess a lot of other people did too, because I was contacted by one of the others and given a name of a Postal Inspector who was investigating the case. I never followed up on what happened though.

If you used PayPal, you can contact their fraud dept., and file a report. They might not release the funds from his account. I am not sure about this, but I do know that the company does not like scammers and frauds in their system.
