tough nite for me going 1-3 and a loss of $235
running total of -$5
today get back on track selections are:
Oakland/Yankees OVER 7 1/2
Hudson struggled in his last against Seattle allowing 8 hits and 4 runs. Mussina is a slow starter. MUSSINA IS A SLOW STARTER. Just thought I would say that again as a joke to a few of my friends that questioned that statement before the season started. (Just having some fun guys) He allows 4 runs to everyone or at least will while it's cool out. He will start coming around pretty soon when the weather gets hot. In the mean time, I think there is enough lumber here to get the over covered.
White Sox ML
D'amico struggles. He always has. Garland is pitching well and is at home. Not much to say about this matchup. Teams moving in opposite directions. If there is a best bet on the card, this is probably one of them.
Colorado +1 1/2 (-150)
I realize that the Marlins are playing pretty well this year but they were shut down last night after the first inning. Oliver can be had. Estes on the other hand has been one of the best pitchers in baseball if you ignore that one slip he had against St Louis. Seriously, three other starts allowing 2, 2, and 3 hits. The Rocks at home where they usually play better and I get runs. Sounds like it's worth the bet to me.
Atlanta/SF OVER 9
Reuter has just been plain bad this year. Jaret Wright was one of those phenoms that came out of Cleveland and burned up in his first year. Had injuries his second year and came back, sort of. He is healthy now but he has a problem. It's called control. He walks too many and then he comes in sweet over the strike zone. The Giants are going to hit him tonight. I think the over covers here.
and as always thanks to w2w for the insight.
