I'm surprised there aren't 35 responses by now.
My wife will always say stuff like..."I'd like to do this, but I know if I do, when I get back you won't have done anything around here." So she won't do shit in order for it to be my fault. That one really gets to me.
And, of course, it takes her 842 words to say something I can say in 10. No wonder I stop listening! Here's what I hear: "Can you get butter and milk on your way home? blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah." I heard the butter and milk request. I'm on it.

I hate it when my wife responds to my "where do you want to go for dinner?" question with "whereever, you decide"
The thing about it is, she really does care. I can find something to eat anywhere. I really dont care where we eat, but she does. She just cant make a decision on it so she says "whereever"
Then i decide on Outback or somewhere and she will come up with "mmm, i dont really feel like that" and then i run down a list of places that we COULD go, until she feels good about one.

LOL, GT!
If my husband does something that I don't like I don't try to provoke a response, that's just playing head games and I hate that shit. If it's something important I'll talk to him about it, otherwise, I just let it go. Life is too short to waste time annoying one another.
My big pet peeve with my husband used to be him leaving laundry on the floor. After 20 yrs. though I've learned that he's not gonna change so I've come to accept it as part of him and it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to. I'm a much happier person when I don't let little things get to me.

 I was just as surprised as you about that! Maybe are there are too many couples that come to SM and by posting on this thread they may give away there tactics! I know I saw on another thread, that Puddles started, that someone said they hate it when their significant other puts the toilet paper on the wrong way! That's funny, but that's exactly what I'm talking about. Do they do it because they prefer it that way? Was it an accident? Or do they do it just to mess with them?Originally posted by imonboardtoo

Damn. I think I got a million of 'em...they're not huge, but they make for fun discussion at home.).
1. She adds salt to everything! I can't taste my food if you over-salt it.
2. She puts all clothes in drawers. I like my sweatshirts hung up! I don't put all your clothes in drawers when I do the laundry.
3. She says I spend too much time at the gym. Is there such a thing?

There are a few things but one that definitely comes to mind is she can't make up her mind. I'll say what do you want to do? I always get the same response: "I don't know? What do you want to do?"
Lately i've been getting the "you're getting to big. When are you going to stop gaining?" I told her my target right now is 200 so i have 20 lbs to go. So she says to me "how bout when all your supplements are gone?" And now she thinks i'm using gear. I told her if i was she would notice.

Yeah, seems like I'm the one doing most of the posting on this thread so I gotta speak up for all her good points, too. She's an awesome mom, makes big $, has incredible compassion, and she gives me a stiffy in a second. Going on 17 years together.
Having a good relationship really makes life so much better.
