    3-3 nite for a loss of -$90

running total of a profit of +$580

todays picks are: (all totals with one side thrown in)

    Over 9 Brewers/Mets -112
Adrain Hernandez making his first start of the year and his first since his Yankee days back in 2002. Hernandez actually has 4 career starts but lost all of them . He has been pretty awful this year since he has made 5 appearances and only one would qualify as being good. He has allowed at least 2 runs in each of those appearances and went more then 2 innings just once. He made a nice extended relief appearance against Arizona but next time out he was bad againa against Cincy. The inconsistent Mets offense has been scoring runs at least 5 in 7 of teh last 10 games. Hernandez and the Brewers will be happy to get 5 full innings out of him. Which takes to you to there below average pen and I think Danny Kob is unavailable for the series menaing that there is one less arm available. On the flip side Tyler Yates has been pretty horrible lately and if you took away his starts against the lighht hitting Expos he was rocked in the remaining three. Hernandez has 11.2 innings 20hits 15runs and a 7/10 BB to K ratio. yates has 23.2 innings and 30h 17runs and a 11/12 Bb to K ratio. I see this Brewer lineup making lots of trouble for him and he has lasted 6innings in just one of 5 starts.

    Over 7.5 -128 Cubs
Probably should have played this for more when it opened but I didnt jump quick enough. Maddux is pitching better but can still be gotten to and I think after a couple of low scoring games for the rocks they hang a 3 spot on da Cubbies (2 off Greg and one off the pen). Jennings is actually twice as bad on the road as he is at home and the Chicago bats look like they are alive. Not going any deeper it jsut makes sense to me.

    Over 10 SF/Cincy -108
Hermanson has had that ailing back and hasnt started in nearly 3 weeks. Which means he shouldnt be that sharp and shouldnt be around to long. He has bad career numbers against Cincy and 3-4-5 should give him some trouble. Paul Wilson somehow has lead his team to a 5-1 record but since the first 2 starts where he was excellent he has been rocked lately. Looking for that to continue even with SF as his opponent.

    Under 10 Tor/Wsox -101
Batista is coming off 2 excellent starts in arow and he is the type of pitcher who can have success against that WSox lineup. Schoenwis has been pretty solid this season and toronto struggles to hit LH's. basically taking a stab on a gut play.

    Over 8.5 Twins/A's -101
Hudson has been below average since he allowed that late inning homer in the Seattle game. The Yanks hit him when they were just breaking there slump and TB took him to the shed. So I feel even the slumping Twins will get to him a bit. On teh flip we have Seth Gresinger who has lasted just 4innings in both his starts and teh LH attack of Oakland so make it three starts. This is a game where Oakland can really do some damage and they got 5 so far tonite.

    Astros -139
Oswalt is one of the best in the NL and he gets a weak Braves lineup that wont have Giles and Furcal and maybe Chipper again. That doesnt leave much. While ramirez is solid he has to face a ton of solid RH bats Biggio, Kent, Bags, Hidalgo, Ensberg and Berkman

Damn, Astros lost in extra innings. At least Yanks and Blue Jays won for me....but still, Astros should have won that damn game!!!
