  • 2004 Schaeffer Eye Crawfish Boil

I just got back from the boil and it was awesome! I ran into several people that I haven't seen in years. They didn't even recognize me...lol. One guy said there was twice as much of me. That was pretty much what I heard all night. It seems all my hard work is paying off. I ate 2lbs of crawfish that was great. I also met Loretta Nall who is the president of the US Marijuana Party. She is a very informed woman on the political issues regarding the legalization of Mary J. I don't do it but I respect others choice to do so. Anyhow, here are some pics form my night.

Here is me with the three largest Radio personalities in the Northern part of the state I live in. They were super nice and cool. I even had their intern helping me with some things...lol.

This is Smile Empty Soul. One of the better bands at the boil.

This is Finger Eleven. They rocked the hardet. Other bands that were there were: The Rising, Trapt, and Collective Soul.

I was at the boil Friday nite. My g/f wanted to see Better than Ezra and Sister Hazel. Not really my style, but tolerable bands that I've seen in the past. It was fun. You couldn't have paid me enough to go Saturday though... all the Creed babies were out that night on stage

Candle, looks like a fantastic time! I've never eaten crawfish...they look too much like bugs to me. The pic of you and the radio guys...dontcha love being able to take your shirt off and look good? :) Smile Empty Soul...just heard them on the radio the other day and I really liked the song, I'll have to check out their cd...it's been a few months since I bought any music.

Deese, Sister Hazel's music is simple but I enjoy it. Saw them here a few years ago on the 4th of July. My little girl loves them.

I was just trying to keep cool. It had nothing to do with all th scantly clad women at the show. :woot:

r_deese: What do you mean "Cred Babies"? I didn't hang around the stage much. I have more fun talking with people and socializing. :drunk: (j/k)

Its' funny how so many people on the board are from the same area and we haven't ever met. It is truely a small world.

Oh yeah, don't forget Kelly. Beasly was the one who took the picture...lol.

I meant Creed Babies as in spawns of the band Creed... there are just so many bands out there now that have that same voice/music sound. It's like it's manufactured or something and sent out on an assembly line. Oh man, there were TOO many hot girls @ that thing. My g/f called me out at least 3 times I can think of for checkin them out. It is funny how we're from close to the same area... I'm from Cullman, where u guys from? And as for Kelly Hunter..... WOW... I knew she was good looking, but I didn't know she was that hot.
Puddles, Sister Hazel is a pleasant band to listen to especially when you're there on a date. I've seen them twice in Birmingham and once in Jackson, TN when I was living there for college.
