3-3 again last nite for a loss of -$10
running total of a profit of +$480
3 straight nites going 3 out of 6. tonite we break that streak.
Milwaukee -140
The Expos are just 4-13 in their last 17 games on the road this year.....Expose still struggling at the plate hitting just .239 overall vs RHP's......I know that Sheets has dropped his last 3 starts, but overall he is still pitching very solidly......Hernandez, on the other hand, is as well pitching ok, but in his last 5 starts on the road for the Expos, they ended up losing 4 of the 5......I feel that the Brewers must be sick and tired of hearing how they haven't beaten the Expose's in almost two years.....Including last year when they lost all 6 meetings.....The Expos did take two of three from the St Louis over the weekend, but that was at home.....This one unfortunately for them is on the road where they have currently lost 7 of their last 8.....Make it 8 of 9 losses after this Brewer squad wanting to get that Bitch off their backs get through with them
Minny -132
Silva is 5-0 on a winning team and at home.....vs Pinero 1-4 on a a slumping team on the road.....Hmmm....This number is a steal to me, after the job that Silva already put on this M's squad on Weds......Silva impressed me when he lead the Twins to a 5-1 victory over these same Mariners.....In that one, he allowed just 1 run on 5 hits over 8 solid innings.....Tonight should not be any different and he should again be able to dominate the M's bats at home
NY Mets -112
You can count out any type of HR derby happening again in this one, like it did last night......Al Leiter has almost been unhittable as his 1.53 ERA can atest to.....Leiter this year has allowed just 6 earned runs in 35 1/3 innings on the hill......Even though the Mets lost yesterday, their Offense still impressed posting 17 hits and 8 runs......I expect Al to keep the sticks of Zona in check tonight, while I see Dessens and his 1-4 record with an ERA of 7.85 continuing to struggle, allowing the Mets Offense to impress once more....This time the Mets should get the W.
Houston -145
Ok I have to continue to ride the Rocket Ship until it crashes. The Rocket has been nothing but money this year, posting a 6-0 record with a 2.11 ERA to boot. Today he will have another big task as he faces Penny, who has been impressive so far this year, but for me that is not enough. I like the Rocket who is the Vet, is at home, and has the sticks to back him up. I also like the Rocket who is playing with a bit of Revenge for losing his last one at Florida which possible cost his team the World Series, and his chance to retire with the best of them. The Rocket is undefeated, and Penny is not. The Rocket has a better ERA, more wins, more K's, and given up less HR's than Penny. That is enough for me, but here is one more. Florida is also coming off of just their 3rd win in 9 games. Houston took out Atlanta's Ace without two of the Killers B's in the lineup. That says a lot to me.....Ride the Rocket! And I can get him at home for less than $50 chalk? Fuck me!
Chicago WS -135
Although the O's have one of the Top hitting teams in the Majors, they are still struggling on the road hitting LHP's ONLY averaging .202 against them. The WS is 5-1 in Buehrle's last 6 starts. Ponson, after starting off 3-1 has struggled in his last 3 starts, which ended in 2 of 3 games resulting in Balt getting blownout. Teams have been teeing off on Ponson and has posted off him in his last 3 starts, 27 hits, 20 runs, and 6 walks, in just alittle over 14 innings. Buehrle has also been allowing teams to tee off of him his last 3, but the Sox has been playing better defense and Buehrle has kepted the walks and runs down
Angels +160 Value Play - 33% chance of hitting
I have to go with the HOTTEST team in the Majors. They have been playing the most consistant ball of late even with the injuries to their top dawgs. The main reason for this is their dominant BP who have been closing out games as they have started STRONG. and their ERA of just .81 proves it. I dont see the Yanks being able to come from behind as they have been doing against the M's and A's. Not vs this team, NO WAY....NO HOW!
