Question for the NHL experts

Smething I've always wondered. Why hasn't a team (or maybe they have and I don't know) ever just hired like a sumo guy to be there goalie and just cover the whole damn thing up?

The sumo guy would probably go off for a steak and chips every 5 minutes :)

Have you ever seen a sumo guy that can play goalie? Let alone skate?

Has nothing to do with that if he's covering up the WHOLE goal.

There would still be little parts of the net visible...and NHL players are good enought to put the puck there, while a fat sumo would not have the speed and agility to adjust body position in time to stop those pucks.
