What type of blender do you use?

My blender is on its last legs and I am in need of new one. The one I have is very loud and drives my wife crazy. Any suggestions for a good, quiet (but aggressive) blender?

oster 2 speed. i've had it for about 2 years...it's great. it's like the ones they use in bars.

Phillips hand held w/detachable metal shaft. It works awesome crushes ice easily (if needed) and cleans in a snap. I will never use a regular blender for shakes again.

I use a Phillips hand blender as well, too easy to use and clean to use a big bulky blender.

actually...i'm a lazy bastard and just use a shaker. if it's chunky, who cares? i just down it anyway...

my blender has been in the pantry for 6+ months.

Mine is older than I am ... it's about 25 years old. lol. I've seen those Oster blenders. They look like they'd kill anything you'd put in it.lol The one I 've seen only had 1 speed....on....and....off

The proteins I'm using these days, I don't hardly use my mixer, unless I add peanut butter.. Got at least 10 shaker cups, different logos on them..
