Ouch 5 straight losses, I go away for the weekend to find out when I get back my Cubbies droped 3-4 to the Pirates. What is that.

These injuries are really starting to piss me off.... atleast they get Mark Prior back this week. How did everyone else's teams do over the extended weekend?

Twins fan here, hopefully the team can stay healthy, cause we are in a weak division, and should be back in the playoffs, only to get outdone by the AL East champs again :(

I just looked at the standings today....good God, what a turn-around by the San Fran Giants. Barry Bonds may have cooled off over the last dozen games or so, but the team is red-hot. 8-2 in their last 10 games, leading the NL West by 3 games, and fifth best record in the Majors overall.

Amazing, considering they still don't have a big bat behind Bonds in the order. But getting guys like Durham and Grissom back from the DL has made a huge difference.

also I would like to retract my last statement in this thread....figures the second I start talking shit the Cubs drop 2 to the Sox. :doh:
Then they go pick up the best pitcher in free agency...my luck.

lol, she took me to see that Redsox movie and damn near cried at the end of it when the Yankees beat em, that teams gonna give you a haht attack baby :P
