  • NBA draft

Who are your top 5 picks and is it just me or is the draft class one of the weakest in a long while???

  • #2
    1) Emeka Okafur 2) Dwight Howard 3) Shawn Livingston 4) Josh Smith 5) Luol Deng
I'd like to side note that 3/5 of those are High School seniors entering the draft and 2 of them have shoe deals w/ adidas already. Livingston is the only one who don't

I honeslty couldn't even tell you anyone that is coming into the draft this year and usually I am on top of it. I think it is getting a little rediculous with the kids coming straight out of high school, granted they might do good but, what happens if they hurt themselves and can't play anymore.

Well, chances are if they came straight outta high school, they're good and made plenty of money that first signing day.... example Lebron... signed for $12 mil.... had over $100 mil in endorsements... he could break his neck and be banned from basketball and have plenty of money for the rest of his life.

Very true, what did I do wrong. Man I should have stuck to basketball. I really think that basketball has been on a decline lately though, the only time I watch it is when the playoffs are on.

To tell ya the truth Okafur is the only descent player I've seen.

I don't see a problem with players straight outta high school. Why not, if they have the talent? They can start getting paid for their services right away, instead of spending 3 years in college making millions for the NCAA while not getting a cent in return.

Anybody from the NY area care to comment on Sebastian Telfair? Is this guy as good as the hype?

I think PG is particularly hard to play in the pros without some learning years in the college ranks, but I would to hear opinions...
