  • Lakers - Wolves

Well folks, what we all knew was going to happen has come to pass.

Shaq Daddy did whatever he wanted on the court - 27/18/5, these are some monster numbers. I'd give credit to the Kandi man to stand up to Shaq, but it was really a serious mismatch.

KG really needs to step up - other than Sprewell, the Wolves were AWOL. I can't see this going 7 games.......

I can't see 7 really with anyone that's left... Lakers in 6, possibly 5 the rest of the way out.

Looks like the Wolves showed up for Game 2. Maybe, as they say, the rumors of their demise are greatly exaggerated...

              We can only hope...

The T-wolves will lose the next two in L.A.

Depending on which lakers show up in game 3 I think the Twolves can pull it out again they looked good last night.

Anyone else find it convient that Kobe's court dates keep falling on days of home games. I'd like to see him have to go from Denver to Minnesota one of these times....

I'm starting to think maybe the judge and jury are Lakers fans ;)

                      I agree....

It is also spooky how he goes to a court date, rushes back and drops 40 points on the opposition. I am no fan of the guy, but I don't know what kind of amazing mental strength and focus that requires.

Yeah from the looks of how he's playing tonight I think he's saving his energy for game 4, he'll have another huge game I'm sure. The T-wolves should really try to just shut him down next game.

Lakers looked good tonight, I see them winning game 4, losing game 5 here in MN, and wrapping it up game 6 in LA

Yup, I concur. The TWolves will get all fired up for Game 5 and win it but will run out of gas and options in Game 6.

Game 3 looked almost idnetical to game 1. Min making the same mistakes and couldn't break that four point lead the lakers had on them. Then near the end they just give up. The only differnce is they lost by 11 instead of 9.
