Tbay might win the series, but I don't think they will sweep the first 2 games.
Cgy has an advantage on D and at least a toss-up at G. The best Dman on the ice, Regehr, is having career year after signing the big contract, and hasn't missed a game this year. Both D's are the same size and Cgy has 3 goals from the D in 19 games vs 2 in 16 for TB. All Cgy D are 24-25 years old, except Warrener, who's 28. All TB D are 26-32, and Sydor is the eldest. Cgy plays Regehr/Leopold/Ference/Warrener 23-26 min., Montador plays 19 and the hulking Commodore 13. Sydor/Kubina/Boyle get 21-11, Sarich/Pratt 19-22, Lukovich and Cullimore, under 13. So Cgy plays top 4 more. Sydor has a cup ring, though he was 3rd Dman on the Stars; Warrener's lost with Buf and Flo. The rest of the Dmen have never been in the finals. Sydor's good and he's helped Tbay, but he is not a stud D, like Regehr, and I think he is more error prone. Cgy forechecks more than any foe TBay's faced so far, and they will cause some turnovers. Cgy has better team D from forwards.
Up front, Tbay has more stars, and probably has 3 of the 4 best forwards. However, from forward 5-12, Cgy has an advantage, as they have better 4th liners. TBay played 7 d last game, because they're weak at 4th liners. Cgy overall is bigger, faster, younger.
