  • Finally got pulled over for my tints.

There was a road stop on my way to work today and the cops saw that my windows are WAY too dark. I should have rolled my window down so they couldn't see it. Anyway I asked the guy if I could get some leniancy (sp?) since I work for the Town. He went to his car, walked back and said "take em off". So I was like thank you and drove off. Man it's a good perk of working where I do.

Yeah I was pretty lucky. It only would have been like a $50 fine, but i don't have $50.

i couldnt get my car pass emmisions with them so i had to go to a shady place and pay him an extra $50 to pass me.

I got pulled over yesterday but the cop was wrong. I was going past a school zone (I NEVER speed there) and a cop had 2 cars pulled over. He sees me coming and steps out into the middle of the road and stops me, walks to the passenger side of the car and I'm clueless as to why he's stopping me. He starts going off on me saying that he's already got 2 people pulled over for speeding in a school zone and that I shouldn't be going so fast, I could hit a kid, bla bla bla. I told him that I'm very careful about observing the speed limit and watching for the blinking light when the school zone limit of 20 mph is on but I didn't see it blinking. My daughter goes to the school so I know better than to whip through there. He continues to go off on me scaring my daughter who's also in the car, then he says this time it's just a warning and he leaves to go back to the people he's got pulled over. I start driving and go another 10' and pass the light on the other side of the road that would be blinking if the school zone speed limit was in effect and like I thought, the light was NOT blinking. The school zone thing had ended about 10 minutes earlier. I wanted to go back and tell him he was wrong but I was already running late for an appointment. Guaranteed the other people he pulled over weren't wrong either. I wish there was a way for me to get in touch with the other people he gave tickets to. Based on the time he'd have written on the ticket they could fight it.

:agree: A friend of mine went to court over the same thing and won! He was pulled over 30 minutes after they had shut the lights off! The judge threw the case out!

When he said that a kid could dart out in front of you, you should have said, "You mean from between the cars that you pulled over in a school zone, creating a hazard?" LOL. You prolly wouldn't have made a friend there :D

I am sure we can all sympathize with you there. They can sure fuck things up for you, just because they are having a bad day. Thats why i keep a donut encased in glass under my seat, just incase i should ever need it.
