we cooked out yesterday because as always it was suppose to rain today (and it did ALL DAY LONG). I am not religious but the men and women of the militarty are in my thoughts and so are the government officials that they make better choices in the future.

Great post Bounce!!! I threw some ribs and fresh corn on the grill for Memorial Day and before I took the first bite I bowed my head and gave thanks for having the freedom to do it and asked God to watch over all of our Men and Women that are over seas!!! Hope everyone had a safe one that you didn't forget what it was all about!!!

My daughter asked us questions about Memorial Day. The one I didn't have much of an explanation for was "Why does everyone BBQ on Memorial Day?"
