  • Breaking Apartment Lease?

Any of you have suggestons on how to get out of an apartment lease? I am going to look over my agreement and see what I can come up with, but I just found out today that since re-signing my lease in November, the rent for my floorplan has dropped $193, and I still have until the end of October for the lease.

To go along with it all, the management has changed and I can't say that I have been very pleased with how any of the new people up in the office are.

I just can't get over a $200 drop a month in rent in only a matter of 6 months or so. I'm curious if they will honor anything considering I have lived there for over 2 years now.

If you're a loyal customer, it's a possibility, but not likely. I mean the reason they dropped rates is b/c of a money problem, so I would seriously doubt that they'd let you off paying less especially if they have a legally binding agreement that holds you to it. It's a rough situation, but you're just going to have to deal with it.
