Las Vegas

Thinking about going to Las Vegas with two of my girlfriends.
Around July and ideas or suggestions.

You're young 20's HardRock, or Rio , very active casinos w/younger folks .

Relaxe enjoy, very nice Treasure Island, on the strip and in walking distance to everything.

Downtown is probably not your style, or the less expensive hotels, more for older folks who like to drink and gamble and don't care about food or accomadations .

Don't rent a car, take taxi's, 10 x's easier.

Take a look at the Travel Channel if you get it. A few weeks ago they had a 2 hr. thing on Vegas and they went over a lot of hotels and clubs...you'll be able to get some good ideas there and they play the same show from time to time. Check your TV guide.

Suggestions? Take these two items with you:

1) Defibrillator
2) Dialysis Machine

Seriously - the pool at the hard rock is the best party in Vegas.

Stay at the Palms. Club Rain(at the Palms) is the place to be right now. The Palms pool is off the hook. Dont mess around with trying to save a buck at a cheaper hotel.

You could consider using a V.I.P service such as http://www.clubagogo.com/ or the like. They will arrange where to go and get you there via limo and have line busters at all the clubs. Definetly worth it. Will save you tons of headache and stress about maximizing your time there.

I just went recently and the Flamingo has an awesome pool. Pretty much go everywhere you can. If you want good odds in gambling, go Downtown. If you don't like walking in the heat, I would say rent a car. Parking is free at every hotel and it's not that bad to get around. I rented one while I was there and I am definitely going to when I go back.

Thanks for all the suggestions, we are going around the 27th and we are staying at the Flamingo. I can't wait i really need the distraction right about now.

If you're gonna be drinking all the time, don't rent a car. But if you'll only be drinking in the evening, then definately rent a car. The strip is pretty spread out, and you won't want to walk it or pay for cabs all the time if you are trying to check out a lot of different casinos, trying to ride all the roller coasters, ect.
