Yes you can. In the magazine you can plainly see it.
Originally posted by sana this is the type of mentality that young women have to deal with - no wonder why this world is full of eating disorders.
she's not even fit looking - just anorexic.
:agree: both my last two girls, my ex-girl and my current wife, have been up around 180 and I just love women like that. I mean yeah they were only 5' 1" but...J/K-about 6 foot each. LOL
Originally posted by beefcake I don't think she looks anorexic. For her height, she wouldn't look good with more weight. Her tits aren't big enough. It wouldn't look good. I don't see any bones sticking out or anything. Her arms aren't just skin and bones, they look normal. If I could see hip bones jutting out, then I would agree with you.
and you probably think that a girl at 5'4" should weigh no more than 110lbs.
look at her arm here, there is no shape, no tone, nothing. just arm - and if it was airbrushed that way - it just goes to show that the american public expects a girl's arm to be shapless and sticks.
Originally posted by beefcake I'm just saying that she's not to the point of looking like calista flockhart yet. I would have no problem if she looked like Davana Medina either. She's just in between.
that wasn't even the intent of my original point. i was speaking specifically to r_deese's point when he said she was getting "huge".
the point being that even christina plumper wasn't huge - she was just more normal. devana during the season isn't exactly a realistic or healthy goal to maintain all the time either.
i'm saying that all the media does is create and hype these unattainable physiques and then all these girls end up with eating problems.
Originally posted by sana sure to each their own, but can't the mags at least promote a healthier and more attainable look for women to "mold" themselves after?
Healthier as in she's unhealthy or healthier as in a more scuplted body? Either way people all like different kind of looks. If we were all the same then it would be boring. I see people post pics in the XXX forum of women bodybuilders that I think looks gross. I prefer a softer look on a woman. But others look at it as being beautiful. That's why beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

How do you determine which is worse, anorexic or obiese?

healthier as in the fact that christina "during chub" when everyone says she was "huge" is more realistic and attainable.
that should be the image being protrayed. a more realistic bf% level, a more realistic picture. not airbrushed rail thin arm.

that's the point!
christina was never that "huge". it's not like she blew up the size of a lane bryant model. she was probably a size 6 when she was plumper. her bf% was probably no more than 20.
healthy for an average woman is anywhere from 20-25.
regardless of how large her muscles are - the image that is being projected by the media that is translated to people like yourself and r_deese is that christina was a porker when she was probably no more than 120lbs, now that she's probably closer to 110, maybe even 100, she's gorgeous.
it creates an unhealthy perception of what "should" and "shouldn't" be normal.
