  • Anyone want to race for pink slips?

    http://www.teaser.fr/~elebourg/JetBike.wmv

Yes, that is the sound of a jet engine. The faster you go, the harder it accelerates. 227mph in just 15 seconds. I am quite sure the top speed is unknown. LOL

Here is America, we like to be a little crazy. The bike is real. I know of guys who have actually seen them run and said they are really wild to see at night. Jay Leno has one. In fact, it is my understanding that the one in the vid, is his. You can put a jet engine in just about anything. The company that makes them can also customize them tit in cars, bikes...whatever.

227 in 15 seconds isn't that impressive when you compare it to a top fuel dragster... 300 and some mph in around 4 seconds in the quarter mile. Not to mention the dragster weight a whole lot more than that thing. But it's still pretty amusing:)

first off, how in the hell does he keep the front end down, secondly, what keeps this " jet engine" from melting the rear tire?

that is cool but not very practical even for race applications, there are turbo hayabusa's making more power
