Being a NY Mets fan, I can not stand these fucks. But I have to tip my hat to Jeter for that amazing play, diving into the stands. His face looks pretty messed up. Post game they reported he had a lacerated cheekbone and bruised chin. On the local sports radio here in NY they just reported that DJ will start tonight at Shea Stadium against the NY Mets.

gotta love the guy ... he plays with the intensity EVERY pro athlete should bring ... *hint hint* NBA ... most over priced players..and the laziest..

Have to agree with you there.. I am not a huge fan of pro BB, but I watch it from time to time.

NBA, I just cannot stand it anymore. Its a bunch of ganstas who are slowly working towards losing their mainstream audience. People forget, we need to identify with these athletes if we really are going to care about the outcome of a game. And, I don't know about you, but I just can't identify with 90% of the people playing BB anymore. People are sick (well, some, not all) of this "thug-life" image that half of these guys project, and its just been getting worse in recent years.

Hats off to them, they are fantastic athletes in their own right. But, much like sumo wrestling, I just don't have much in common with the competators anymore, and I am losing interest. (And, in sumo wresting, come on, its so bad you almost have to watch!)
