  • This really concerns me....

I don't know if any of you had seen or heard anything about this on the mainstream media news (not very much coverage on this story) but I have seen a family from the flight interviewed on MSNBC's Scarborough Country. I can't stand Joe Scarborough but this was an excellent segment and I believe the two guests were being honest and straightforward.

There was a recent disturbing incident on Flt 327 from Detroit to LAX on July 15th of this month. Keep in mind that this is a fully fueled transcontinental flight and that the questionable passengers (14 of them- all from Syria- on expired visas) were all using one-way tickets. I'll let you decide what to think about all of this.

Flt 327 Detroit - LAX incident

I can definitely say without a doubt that there certainly WOULD be trouble if I was onboard that flight and there probably would have been some type of confrontation. Perhaps this was a good thing that I was not onboard. I'm fucking pissed off about this- assuming that it's true, which I believe it is. Any thoughts on this story?

Yeah but that doesn't mean that they aren't doing a "dry run" to check security protocols. The CIA had/has plenty of spies who hold one profession yet also work for them in the capacity of undercover work. Famous US spies later retired from service included Chuck Barris (CIA Assassin) host from the Gongshow and other stupid TV game show programs and Julia Childs (OSS-WWII era predecessor to modern CIA) the 80+ year old cook on TV. It's not an unreasonable assumption that these men could be double agents, so to speak. What other reasonable cover could they use to get 14 men all of the same ethnic background on the SAME airliner that knew each other. It surely raises caution flags, in my book.

I'll be taking two trips by air in the next month and a half, one of them being on Labor Day weekend. If I see funky shit like that happening on board and in-flight, you can bet that I'm going to say something about it. I'm also going to take digital pics of those fuckers too. You can further bet that I would definitely take action if these people were told to return to their seats and ignored the flight attendants. I don't care if it's just me against five guys or whatever. If a physical confrontation does take place, I'm fucking some of them up badly. They're going to hope there's an air marshall onboard to save their asses. I just won't stand for that shit and I'll take my chances in court later...

Passengers are not subjected to the same rules of engagement as the airlines personnel or air marshalls. We can do things (such as verbal confrontation) that they can't do and I don't want to wait until 3 or 4 people are dead in the aisle before they make an effort. When I travel by air now, I usually carry big zip ties on my travel bag. You just never know anymore when you might need stuff like that.

But what the fuck did he tell the guy no for? I would have fucking freaked.

Julia Child was a spy? Fuck.

Been following that story for a while now. And there is a security brief from london about this being the new route the terrorists are taking. Smuggling individual items aboard and making the IED in flight. The part that bothered me the most was the 4 Air Marshals on the flight did nothing at all. The reason was the men never interrupted the flight or crew. On 9/11 the terrorists said they just wanted the planes and no one would get hurt if they complied. I don't think they'll say anything the next time because no one would go for it now. They'll just blow the fucking plane and never say a word.

I'm afraid I would be in deep shit if I was on that flight. I think I at least would've got up and elbowed my way in line to see what the fuck they were leaving in the bathroom, if anything. And most likely if they were looking that squirrelly I would have stood up at some point and told them to sit down and piss your pants, no more bathroom for you Ahmed. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6, ya know....

i wonder how many seatbelt extenders the flight attendant had to get for that.

i'm the person who passes out as soon as i get on the plane and never watch shit around me - i'm not nosey like that. so if i'm dead i'm dead - it was mean to be. why sit there for 4, 5 or even 12 hours worrying about a possibility of death?

I get bad feelings flying anymore, it's not the same. This story just reinforces those feelings to me, this shit is ridiculas. I would NEVER stand by with something like that, it's not in my nature to sit around risk getting slaughtered.
