listen - I don't want to see any bucs fan commenting on the Ricky situation ... or on the dolphins at all. It's been a fucking circus this offseason ... marino hired, then quits. A managerial change that means absolutely nothing. A new quarterback that's not even going to win the starting position over a horrible incumbent. A trashing of our entire offensive line, only to lose out on both big name free agents (not to mention signing a injured Damion McIntosh to a long term deal, even though he'll miss the entire first season). The only "success" this offseason was the signing of a pretty boy, head case wide receiver.

You think the ricky situation is a joke? Your team didn't end last season over .500 ... now that's a joke. Please refrain from comments until your team has a respectable season.

OK - I feel better now.

I'll just be glad when college football starts back. Pro ball sucks a nut.

Some of these people feel let down, but let's not forget that we are talking about a person here. It has been obvious that the guy's head has always been on other things than the game of football. Just because the guy has a great talent for the game does not mean that he has to love it or that he was meant to play it...espececially to to please others. Football is an all-consuming thing. If you don't love the game it will show in time. My hat is off to him for making a tough choice that most people wont agree with. I wish the guy luck in what ever he chooses to do.

first off partna, i ain't a tampa bay fan, the buccaneer thing is from the high school i played for. i'm from LA so i'm a fuckin saints fan, and yes we may not be too good, but that's due to front office mistakes and the players with all the talent pissin it away. now as far as ricky williams goes i'd take deuce over him any fuckin day of the week cause he's got twice the heart as ricky and he's a more complete back. and even if i were a bucs fan, didn't they win the super bowl the year before? so now, i feel better.

however, the reason i am trashing on ricky is because i happen to LIKE the dolphins and respect their defense more than anyone else's in the nation (except for Dallas of course). if he doesn't love the game he knew that shit after last year, he didn't need to do this during all the shit they're goin through right now. whatever floats his boat i guess. besides, it's looking like they'll get ed james in miami

actually he's 27, and hey if thats what he wants to do with his life so be it. It's a pretty shity thing to do to his team though....and it is a total waste of talent, but hey it's his life.Damn shame though...looks like Wanny will be lookin for an assistant coach job elsewhere next year

Saints have a decent team. I've just been fielding phone calls from bucs fans all day.

The timing sucks, but meat's right ... it's his life. I actually respect his decision. The real question is why Wanny didn't see this coming. the answer - the player's think he's a fucking joke.

i think if they can land ed james they'll be fine, hes got the ability to fill in for ricky and he would fit right in into their offensive scheme, the trouble is the o-line
