I got a small raise after going longer than a year without one due to the economy and layoff and crap. Also sucks how we didn't get a bonus, but all the management always does, yet all my boss did was pass the sh!t downhill.

When i got my raise it was 5% of the total that we make. Which totally sucked every year i am used to a higher bonus and for some reason this year we got no bonus at all. So i know how you feel.

Every year we have performance evaluations! Depending on how you did throughout the year you can get a 2% raise for doing badly or 5% for doing great!

The new president of our wonderful company made our max raise at about 3.25% I think.

The more I struggle for money and the more I look for a second job...the more I consider going elsewhere that pays for what you're worth to the company.

I got a whopping 3%, LOL. Oh well, at least I have a secure job.

That's true. I feel my job is secure and that has kept me from going elsewhere. however, I still wouldn't feel suprised all that much if I got canned at any given moment. Good ole' oil corporations.......

I do contract work in IT - just got a 20% raise on a contract renewal, but no benefits and no job security - as if there is such a thing these days!
