I called my friend on her cell and got no answer. An hour later she calls me back and says, "I'm sorry, I couldn't answer the phone becuase I was in the middle of a vaginal ultrasound."

Definitely the best excuse ever!

LOL She was in the doctors office! They were looking at her ovaries and stuff. They basically take a probe and instert it vaginally and the ultrasound waves send pictures to the screen while they manipulate the probe to get pics from different angles. Oh the joys of being a woman! Unfortunately she's got some painful female problems.

Thanks. She's an awesome woman who couldn't have kids, she's now entering her mid 40's and has accepted being childless, she's got 3 dogs, one of them is a grate dane who is like a child to her. Now she gets these insane fevers every month and she's just exhausted with this so she wants it all pulled out. She's one of the healthiest women I know otherwise, eats right, trains good, doesn't smoke or anything, she just has bad luck. I'm putting together a recipe book from the boards for her for her birthday present...she's got a great sense of humor and will enjoy the healthy recioes along with the comments that follow. She'll probably have surgery right after her birthday next month, so I'll cook up some of the stuff she finds interesting for her while she recovers.
