he had him on the ropes early, but couldnt land that one big uppercut that he was looking for. Williams continued to pound that left handed body blow and tyson couldnt take it. As soon as williams got a couple good chin shots in, he knew that iron mike was not gonna make it past the 4th round.

Tyson looked real solid for 2 mins of the first round and about a 1 minute stretch in the 3rd, but that was it.

Torn meniscus....you have to respect that he even came out and tried to keep fighting...that injury hurts like a mofo. I say we have to give Mike the benefit of the doubt here...he had more guts than brains by trying to continue the fight. He should heal up and get one more shot...it was just bad luck on his part that he was injured.

i used to hate that guy...but i just feel sorry for him. his life has been nothing short of tragic. seeing him in the ropes last night brought a tear to my eye, reaffirming the fall of one of the most talented fighters to ever step into a boxing ring. he has been taken advantage of by so many due to his lack of intellect and the one place that he has always been able to shine was in the ring. it's sad to see even that slowly being taken from him. it's been a long time coming, and we all know that he hasn't been the champion fighter that we all love since he went to prison, but i think last night truly marked the fall of iron mike tyson. the look on his face as he lay in the ropes said it all.
